This section explains the full coaching workflow now available inside the admin panel, including setup, section-wise marks entry, and reporting.

Module Purpose

The Coaching Exam module is designed for institutes running weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and yearly tests. It works class-section-wise, so each exam can be planned, marked, and reported for a specific section inside a class without mixing student data across batches.

Setup Scope

Exam type, session, class, section, subject, date and time, and full marks are stored for each coaching exam entry.

Marks Scope

Marks entry starts directly with obtained marks and loads only students from the selected class section.

Report Scope

Admins can generate a single exam result list and a month wise result list with section filtering.

1. Exam Setup Documentation

  • Select the exam type from Weekly, Monthly, Half Yearly, or Yearly.
  • Choose the academic session to bind the exam to the correct active period.
  • Select class and section so the exam remains batch specific.
  • Choose the subject assigned to that class.
  • Set the exact date and time of the exam.
  • Define full marks for the paper.

2. Marks Entry Documentation

  • Filter by exam type, session, class, section, subject, and saved exam date/time.
  • Load only the students mapped to the selected class section.
  • Enter obtained marks against each student record.
  • Validation ensures marks cannot exceed the exam full marks.
  • Saved marks automatically calculate percentages for quick review.

3. Reporting Documentation

  • Single Exam Result List shows rank-ready exam-wise student performance for one test event.
  • Month Wise Result List groups all coaching exam entries for a selected month.
  • Both reports are section aware, so result visibility follows the exact teaching batch.
